1. Eligibility

To participate in the Kikundify Chama Referral Reward Program ("the Program"), you must:

• Be a registered Kikundify user with a verified phone number.
• Hold a valid Kenyan national ID registered on the platform.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Not be an employee of Sooz Ltd or a member of its immediate family.

Registering more than one account to circumvent these rules will result in permanent disqualification and forfeiture of all pending and unpaid rewards.

2. How the Program Works

There are two ways to earn the KSH 1,000 reward:

Path A — Register your own Chama. If you create a Chama on Kikundify, opt it into the Program, and it satisfies all qualification conditions below, you earn KSH 1,000 as the chairman.

Path B — Refer a Chama. Every registered user has a unique referral link in their Referral Dashboard. When a new user clicks your link, registers, and creates a Chama that satisfies all qualification conditions, you earn KSH 1,000.

A Chama can only generate one reward in total. It is never paid twice.

3. Opt-In and Chairman Authority

The Program requires explicit opt-in by the Chama's chairman. When creating a qualifying goal fund, the chairman must tick a checkbox confirming enrolment in the Program.

By opting in, the chairman represents and warrants that they have the authority, on behalf of the Chama and its members, to:

• Bind the Chama to these Terms.
• Lock members' goal contributions for the durations described in this document.
• Accept the penalty terms that apply on early withdrawal by any member.

Kikundify relies on this representation. Any Chama whose chairman lacks such authority, or where members dispute the lock, may be disqualified and rewards reversed at our discretion.

Chamas created before the Program's launch, or goals created without the opt-in checkbox, are not automatically enrolled and do not qualify.

4. Qualification Conditions

A reward is payable only when all of the following are true at the time of evaluation:

• The Chama's chairman is an active Kikundify user.
• The Chama opted in to the Program when creating the qualifying goal.
• The Chama has at least 5 active members at the moment its goal balance first reaches KSH 5,000.
• Each active member has contributed at least KSH 1,000 to the Chama's goal fund specifically (MGR and Welfare contributions do not count toward this condition).
• The Chama's goal fund balance is at least KSH 5,000.
• The Chama's goal fund balance has remained at or above KSH 5,000 continuously for 60 days (see Section 5).
• The evaluation takes place within the 100-day Program window (see Section 5).

Once the 60-day clock has started, individual members may leave the Chama without disqualifying it, provided the goal fund balance remains at or above KSH 5,000 and at least one chairman remains active.

5. The 60-Day Lock and the 100-Day Window

Clock start: The 60-day clock starts the moment the Chama's goal fund balance first reaches KSH 5,000. It does not start on the day the Chama is created, nor on the day the first contribution is made.

Window: The Chama has 100 days from the opt-in date to reach KSH 5,000. If the total is not reached by day 100, the opt-in automatically expires, funds unlock with no penalty, and no reward is paid.

Lock duration: From the day the goal balance first reaches KSH 5,000, the balance must remain at or above that amount for 60 consecutive days. If the goal is reached on day 99 of the window, the lock completes on day 99 + 60.

Qualification: If all conditions are met and the 60-day lock has completed, the reward of KSH 1,000 is released to the appropriate recipient (referrer or chairman) per the payout schedule in Section 7.

6. Early Withdrawal and Penalty

Any member may withdraw their own goal contribution at any time before the 60-day lock completes. Doing so triggers the following:

• A 30% penalty is deducted from the amount being withdrawn.
• The penalty amount is retained by Sooz Ltd as a commitment fee.
• The remaining balance (70%) is returned to the member.
• The entire Chama forfeits its eligibility for the KSH 1,000 reward, regardless of whether the Chama's goal balance remains at or above KSH 5,000 afterward.

The penalty applies per withdrawing member, on the amount they personally withdraw. Contributions made by other members are not affected unless those members also withdraw.

If a member withdraws because the Chama is being dissolved, and the entire Chama's goal fund is being withdrawn in a single action, the 30% penalty still applies to each member's individual portion.

7. Payment Schedule

Qualified rewards are compiled into a payout batch every Friday at 07:00 EAT. Our team reviews the batch for fraud and quality, and approved payouts are disbursed via MPESA B2C at Friday 08:00 EAT.

Payouts may be delayed or withheld if:

• Fraud or suspicious activity is detected.
• The Chama shows signs of manipulation (multiple accounts by the same user, artificial contribution patterns, or coordinated fake activity).
• Your MPESA phone number is invalid, unreachable, or mismatched with your Kikundify account.
• Regulatory or legal obligations require us to hold the payout.

8. Payment Method

All rewards are paid exclusively to the MPESA number associated with your Kikundify account. We do not pay via bank transfer, cash, or any other channel. Ensure your MPESA number is correct at all times — we are not responsible for funds sent to a wrong number that you provided.

If a payout fails (insufficient float on our side, MPESA downtime, or invalid phone number), it will remain in your unpaid balance and you may request a manual retry from the Referral Dashboard.

9. Prohibited Behaviour

The following will lead to immediate disqualification and forfeiture of all pending and paid rewards:

• Registering fake users, Chamas, or members to farm rewards.
• Using duplicate phone numbers, national IDs, or fabricated identities to circumvent our deduplication checks.
• Coordinating with members to contribute, reach the goal, then immediately cycle the funds out through MGR or Welfare payouts while claiming the reward.
• Attempting to bypass, exploit, or manipulate the opt-in, lock, penalty, or evaluation logic.
• Any attempt to exploit the qualification conditions, payment flow, or technical systems of Kikundify.
• Misrepresentation of Kikundify's brand, products, or affiliation in your promotions.

10. Modification and Termination

Sooz Ltd reserves the right to modify reward amounts, qualification conditions, penalty rates, lock durations, payout schedule, or terminate the Program at any time, with reasonable notice provided via email or in-app notification. Changes will not retroactively apply to rewards already qualified and approved for payout.

We may suspend or terminate individual participation at our discretion where we have reasonable grounds to believe the terms have been violated.

11. Disclaimers

Rewards are earned only when Chamas genuinely participate in Kikundify's services. The Program is not a guaranteed income opportunity.

Locking goal funds for 60 days is a material term of the Program. Members who are not willing to have their funds locked should not participate in an enrolled Chama's goal.

Referral links are personal. You may not publish them on coupon sites, spam forums, paid ad networks targeting competitor brands, or via unsolicited bulk SMS/email.

12. Privacy

Tracking data (click time, user ID, reward status, payout history, terms acceptance timestamp and IP) is retained for audit and fraud prevention purposes. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required for payment processing (MPESA) or by law.

13. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising from the Program shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Kenya.
